A hub of resources to shift perception around autistic children and adults in Bangladesh.
BNGLDSH, short for Bangladesh, is a 501(c)(3) organization formed to complement The Autistic Children's Welfare Foundation of Bangladesh and Autism Speaks. While there is an efficient and inclusive education system for children with special needs in place in the United States, many developing nations, including Bangladesh, do not have supportive and accessible programs -- some nations do not have any programs at all.
Autism is still widely taboo in developing nations. The goal of BNGLDSH to is shift perception, unravel the stigma and inspire those who have the power to influence the education systems in Bangladesh to consider the educational opportunities of all people.
